A common cause of illness your doctor will ignore
Imagine running out of gas and calling AAA for help -- but when it comes, they never even ask what you need. And instead of filling your tank, they change your tires and leave.
Now, I'm sure that's never happened on the side of a highway. AAA is better than that.
But your doctor? He's another story (unless your doctor is me), because like that hypothetical mechanic who assumes a car stuck by the side of the road has a flat, too many doctors are so sure they know what's wrong they never check for anything else. Especially hidden fungus linked to fungal diseases.
So you don't get better. You get worse. And if you do happen to get better, it's in spite of your doctor and not because of him.
Now, the CDC has issued a bulletin urging patients and doctors alike to pay attention to a common cause of illness I've already been warning you about: fungal infections.
These fungal diseases and infections can cause or mimic dozens of diseases and conditions, including arthritis, Parkinson's, flu-like symptoms and prostate problems.
But they often go unchecked, untested and untreated.
Or, as the CDC puts it, "because the symptoms of different fungal diseases... are similar to other common illnesses, diagnosis and treatment are often delayed."
I can tell you from firsthand experience that treatment isn't just "delayed."
In too many cases, real treatment never arrives. I see patients all the time who come to me as a last resort after months or even years of failed care in the hands of a mainstream doctor.
They often tell me their old doctor "tried everything" and that "nothing seems to work."
And they're shocked when they realize that their old doctor didn't really "try everything" after all. In fact, he missed something very basic and, as the CDC bulletin proves, all too common.
Fortunately, most fungal diseases and infections can be corrected safely, naturally and quickly -- but only if you have a doctor who knows what he's doing.
That's why I recommend working with a holistic MD who has experience in diagnosing and treating fungal infections, especially if you're battling an illness where your doctor has "tried everything" and "nothing seems to work."
And if you're in Southern California, I can help.
