The cancer battle your doc WON'T tell you about

When you've got cancer, you know you've got to fight the tumor. You've got to stop it from growing and spreading.

And that's pretty much ALL your doctor will focus on.

But new research shows how that's only half the battle -- because your MOOD could actually play a key role in whether or not you survive this disease.

Depression, stress, and anxiety can all unfortunately show up before and during a battle with cancer -- and these conditions can make the struggle even tougher.

And, according to the new study, it can make the cancer deadlier, too.

If you're battling these mood disorders yourself, your risk of dying from cancer can jump by an average of a third overall.

In some cases, however, the connection is even stronger.

Depression and anxiety can nearly TRIPLE your risk of death from pancreatic cancer and QUADRUPLE the risk of dying of leukemia. It can also more than double your risk of death from prostate and esophageal cancers, and increase the risk of dying from colorectal cancer by 84 percent.

Now, there's a little bit of a chicken-or-the-egg argument here.

It's not clear if the depression and anxiety help cause the cancer in the first place... or if the cancer itself leads to mood changes.

My bet is that there's a little of both going on.

It's natural to feel stressed and depressed when you're locked in a battle with a deadly disease. Those mood disorders, in turn, are known to cause inflammation and can even mess up your immune system, both of which can help cancers to form, take hold, and spread.

Either way, it's a clear sign that you should never try to "tough it out" when you're facing mood problems, whether you have cancer or not.

Get help.

If you don't have cancer, mood problems are often a sign of nutritional or hormonal issues. If you're fighting cancer and depression rears its ugly head, it could be a mix of stress from your diagnosis and side effects from your treatment.

In either case, most mainstream docs will try to hand you an antidepressant and send you on your way.

This is exactly how NOT to fight depression!

The drugs packs side effects of their own, and some have even been linked to breast cancer. And for the icing on the cake, many don't even work!

Work instead with a holistic doctor who can address the root cause of the condition safely and naturally.
