Cut your death risk for 50 cents
Ladies, there's a simple, safe, and inexpensive way to boost your health -- one you've heard me mention before.
But now, it's backed by science in a big way.
And if you get started on this all-natural treatment yourself -- RIGHT NOW -- you could cut your risk of DEATH from ANY cause.
Ready for the most incredible part?
It'll cost you just 50 cents a day!
That's the price of a decent omega-3 supplement -- and, according to the new study, it's worth every penny, as it can literally add YEARS to your life
The study tracked more than 6,500 women over the age of 65 for an average of nearly 15 years. Some 30 percent of the women in the study died over that time, which is no real surprise given their age at the start of it.
But one thing set the women who lived apart from the ones who died -- and it was their blood levels of the essential omega-3 fatty acids EPA and DHA.
The women with the highest levels were 20 percent less likely to die over 15 years than women with lowest levels.
The study didn't look at the specific causes of death, but you don't need to be a researcher to know what's going on here.
The number one killer of seniors is heart disease, number two is cancer, and number five is stroke -- and omega-3 fatty acids can cut your risk of death from all three.
They're proven to boost levels of "good" cholesterol and cut your triglycerides, which will lower your risk of heart problems. Omega-3s can thin the blood and boost circulation, which can prevent a heart attack or stroke.
They can even cut the risk of some deadly forms of cancer, including colon cancer.
The key is to get the right amounts.
The study finds that the women who lived longest had blood levels that suggest they were getting an average of 1 gram of omega-3 fatty acids per day.
That's what you'll get from eating salmon about three times a week, but that's a habit that can turn expensive in a hurry.
So enjoy salmon when you want, but take a supplement too. Read the label carefully to ensure you're getting 1,000 mg of EPA and DHA and not just 1,000 mg of "fish oil" (there's a difference).
In some cases, you may need to take several capsules per day.
I'm not done with longevity yet.
Later today, I'll have the inside scoop on another incredibly simple way to add years to your life.
