Many of them SEEM to have what SHOULD BE healthy options, especially in the fancier joints like Whole Foods.

Yet a new study finds the meal containers in some of the nation’s leading supermarkets – including Whole Foods – are hiding a DANGEROUS TOXIN linked to cancer and other risks.

But the biggest and most immediate impact of that chemical?

Weight gain!

The chemicals are called perfluoroalkyl and polyfluoroalkyl substances, or PFASs, and they’re all over the place, such as:

  • Clothing
  • Furniture
  • Nonstick cookware
  • And more!

But for today’s purposes, let’s look at the one place where they can really go to work on you: in your FOOD.

PFAS is frequently found in food packaging, including fast-food wrappers and supermarket food containers.

In fact, a new study finds 62 percent of supermarket containers from multiple chains tested POSITIVE for this chemical.

And the worst offender of all?

Whole Foods!

Since PFAS can leech from the package and into the foods, you get a micro-dose with every bite

Those low-but-steady levels can force your body to stubbornly cling to fat -- even when you’re trying your best to burn it off.

One study last year found that four to seven of your extra pounds could be on your body because of PFAS!

Your best bet, of course, is to AVOID packaged foods and fast foods (and don’t be fooled when the food itself seems healthy).

Instead, cook your own meals from scratch at home when you can.
