2 quick actions could STOP Alzheimer’s cold

When your mind starts to go… when you’re told cognitive decline is setting in… when you’re at risk for Alzheimer’s disease, there are TWO TESTS you need to get as soon as possible.

This pair, which can be done at just about any lab, could hold the key to beating this disease early and reversing it completely.

But odds are, your doctor not only won’t order them for you…

He won’t even MENTION them to you!

So today, I’m going to do what he won’t.

I’ve got the inside word on how these two tests can make all the difference in the world for patients who have or are at risk for Alzheimer’s.

Stop dementia… while there’s still time!

It’s not that your doctor WANTS you to plunge into cognitive decline.

He’s got no other choice!

He’s been told the only way to “treat” Alzheimer’s is to wait for it to happen. Then… when it does… he can offer up a med that won’t cure the disease, but might help slow it down just a little, and only in some people.

Sorry, but that’s just nuts.

The best time to act is RIGHT AWAY, when it’s still early – when the decline is first sinking in – and new research shows how the best first action is in two easy tests I’ve often recommended to my own at-risk patients:

APOE testing: This inexpensive test can reveal who has the so-called “Alzheimer’s gene,” also known as APOE4. Now, despite the name, most people who have the gene DON’T develop dementia, so don’t panic if you come up positive. But it DOES mean you’re at risk, and that’s where the next test comes into the picture…

Metals testing: Heavy metals such as mercury, lead, arsenic and cadmium can get inside the brain and decimate the cells, leaving behind damage that triggers dementia and Alzheimer’s disease.

One new study shows exactly how that damage happens…

In tests on mice, researchers watched in horror as even just a little cadmium was able to enter the brain and mess with cells in the hippocampus… specifically in mice with the APOE4 gene.

And that, in turn, led to a more rapid onset of cognitive impairment.

So if you have the gene AND you test positive for metals, we have something close to a smoking gun here. And while this was on mice, other studies have found the same is true in humans exposed to metals.

However, clearing out cadmium and other metals with natural detoxification treatments can often have an immediate impact on memory and cognition.

That means a slower onset of the decline… and is some cases, a complete reversal!

Since you won’t hear about this approach from the mainstream, work closely with an experienced physician who practices integrative or functional medicine.
