fibromyalgia

  1. Fibromyalgia reversed with a simple natural therapy

Docs were DEAD WRONG about fibromyalgia (Here’s how to BEAT it)

It’s the disease your own doctor might INSIST you don’t have.

And it’s not because you don’t actually have it… but because HE doesn’t BELIEVE in it!

Some docs think fibromyalgia is like fairies and unicorns; a made-up bit of fantasy from over-imaginative patients who only THINK they’re sick.

But new research shows who’s REALLY living in fantasyland, and it’s not you.

It’s doctors who refuse to recognize the painful reality of what it’s like to struggle with this debilitating condition.

    The proof is the scans.

Folks who suffer from the fatigue, pain and other chronic symptoms that mark fibromyalgia have major changes inside the brain, according to startling new images.

Your brain has a system that triggers inflammation when needed, especially in response to pain and stress.

But this system is generally focused and targeted on the direct causes of pain such as injury and infection.

Scans of patients with back pain, for example, show only a limited number of brain areas switching on in response to those aches.

Scans of folks with fibromyalgia, however, reveal something else.

Their brains light up like Times Square on New Year’s Eve.

This hyped-up system fires off alarming chemical messages in every direction, causing your body to crank out inflammatory compounds all over the place.

That leads not only to more pain, but also more sensitivity to that pain, giving you a double dose of agony.

And it also leads to fatigue, another common symptom of fibromyalgia.

Yet too many doctors still offer antidepressants to patients struggling with this life-sapping condition as if the problem is “all in your head.”

As the new study shows, part of it IS in your head… just NOT in the way they think!

No mood med in the world will fix the problems causing the brain to crank out all those inflammatory signals.

Fibromyalgia can have multiple causes, and the best treatment will depend on finding and treating the underlying cause or causes.

That said, I’ve found most patients see remarkable recovery and in many cases a complete reversal with the help of a natural intravenous therapy called the “Myers Cocktail.”

There’s nothing weird in it, just therapeutic doses of B vitamins along with essential minerals such as magnesium and calcium.

I’ve made a few tweaks over the years to turn it into what I call the “Energizer Formula.”

I’ve modified it to include a few other essential minerals followed up with additional B vitamins and trace minerals, followed separately with a dose of the “master antioxidant” glutathione.

Since the nutrients have to be delivered intravenously, you can’t try this on your own. However, any experienced holistic medical doctor should be familiar with the “Myers Cocktail.”

Or if you’re in the San Diego area, you can try my Energizer Formula and see the life-changing results for yourself here at the Stengler Center for Integrative Medicine.

  2. Fibromyalgia drugs don’t work

Fibromyalgia? Mainstream docs think it's YOUR fault!

The mainstream is playing its favorite game.

It's the BLAME GAME -- and you're not going to believe who it's blaming for the constant, endless, agonizing, all-over pain of fibromyalgia.

It's not their fellow doctors for failing to treat or even recognize the condition.

It's not the drug industry for refusing to come up with real solutions instead of recycling meds discarded for other conditions.

It's not even researchers for practically ignoring a devastating illness that leaves up to 10 million Americans suffering from debilitating, chronic pain.

    It's YOU!

If you have fibromyalgia and aren't getting better, a new study claims it's YOUR FAULT for not taking all of your meds as instructed.

The study blames lack of "compliance" among fibromyalgia patients, saying less than 10 percent stay on their meds for a full year -- and that's true no matter what meds they're on, whether it's pregabalin (a.k.a. Lyrica) or antidepressants.

And that, the study claims, can make the fibromyalgia harder to control.

To put it as politely as I can, this is pure nonsense.

If the drugs were safe and truly worked, no patient would quit. They'd be THRILLED with their meds... and would practically BEG their docs for more!

But the drugs often do little or nothing and pack so many side effects that many people quit even when they DO help.

Pregabalin, the main drug given to many fibromyalgia patients, has a "number needed to treat" of roughly 10, depending on which study you look at. That means you have to give it to 10 patients to help just one reach pain relief levels of 50 percent or better.

It also has a number needed to harm of six -- which means 1 in 6 patients on the med will suffer serious side effects.

So, out of any group of 30 patients, 3 will be helped... 5 will be hurt... and as many as 25 will get little to no benefit at all, while potentially suffering from less severe side effects.

Yet they're blaming patients for not taking the drug? The real wonder is that it was ever approved in the first place!

But there's a key reason these drugs are doomed to fail: They don't tackle any of the possible causes of fibromyalgia.

There are more than 20 of them, and we're learning about more all the time.

Most mainstream docs don't know that. Heck, the mainstream only just recently admitted that this is a real condition!

The only way to beat this disease is to find the cause and fix it, and that's where a skilled holistic medical doctor can make all the difference in the world.

If you live in the San Diego area, I can test for all of the known causes of fibromyalgia right here at the Stengler Center for Integrative Medicine and work with you on a treatment plan to reverse the condition and end the pain.
